Strawberries were first commercially grown in Victoria during the 1950’s. Ozfresh in the Yarra Valley was one of the first places to experience strawberry production as migrant families begun to settle on the outskirts of Melbourne, particularly in those areas with rich fertile soils. Today the business has grown to be one of the biggest produces of strawberries in the southern hemisphere.
