One of Mornington Peninsula’s most iconic and loved attractions. Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm is set amongst scenic bushland and rolling hills on Victoria’s Hinterland property in Main Ridge. Inviting visitors to explore the harvest fields, pick their own strawberries and enjoy a delicious dessert in the new refurbished café. DWW was recommended to Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm by T-Gallant Wines. The site attracted notice of the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council through it’s food premises licencing process and the EPA became involved. An EPA Pollution Abatement Notice was issued with respect to the previously poorly performing septic and absorption system for wastewater. A two stage upgrade was proposed by DWW whereby some internal retrofitting of the outlet facilities initially occurred followed by a second stage with the new retail outlet building established. DWW was able to provide a solution for a sewage treatment plant to give the site a reliable, low maintenance and trouble free arrangement for the long term as well as obtain EPA approvals.
